Return to Face-to-Face Meetings

Returning to Face-to-Face Meetings

Summer term starts week commencing the 12th April and we’ll be able to return to face-to-face meetings as The National Youth Agency and The Scouts have returned us to Amber Status.

This means that we can meet outdoors without any group size restrictions. We still have to observe the following key precautions though:

  • Maintain 2m social distancing at all times.
  • Keep separate groups at least 25m apart.

More details of the COVID safe procedures we follow can be found on our website. Note that while we can meet face-to-face and as complete sections, some groups may chose to meet in smaller size unit and there may still be some online sessions (especially if the weather is bad)

Leaders will be in touch with parents about specific arrangements for each section before the terms starts, If you have any questions please contact your section leader.

If the COVID-19 case numbers continue to drop then we anticipate further easing of restrictions as the term continues and over the summer.

We’re all looking forward to being able to safely meet up again, please remember to remind children and young people of our behaviour guidelines.
