There are several different types of volunteer at Dringhouses Scouts
Trustee Board Members: Who are trustees of the group and ensure that it is run in compliance with it’s charity status and under the policy organisation and rules as stipulated by The Scouts.
Managers: who run the Group as a whole, and the Beavers, Cubs, Scouts, Explorer and Active Support sections. Managers of the Group include Group Lead Volunteer, Group Team Leaders and Active Support Team Leader roles.
Leaders: these can be Team Leaders (Section Leaders) or Team Members (section assistants and assistant leaders) and their role is to plan and run safe, exciting and fun activities for the young members of our Group
Helpers: who might be Team Members of the Group Active Support Unit, or may be parents/ carers of members who help out for specific events of activities
