Fire Evacuation Drills

Once per term all sections need to do a fire drill, to ensure all members know the process and what to do should the alarm sound.

To avoid disturbing the neighbours and other hall users we use a recording, which you can access below, this plays on a loop, suggest you play this through the speakers in the TV cupboard on max volume, or, if you are using the Church Hall use a portable speaker.

The evacuation assembly area is the grassy area in front of the Holiday Inn as shown in the image below.

Complete the form below once the drill has been done, you will need to know the time taken for the drill to happen, the number of group members present (this includes leaders and young leaders) and please also note any issues.

Please enter the date and time that you executed the drill
Please tell us your headcount for the evening (including young leaders)
Please list the names of leaders in attendance
Please enter the number of parents/ occasional helpers, non-member children etc. who were also present during the evacuation
Please note the time taken to evacuate(from the alarm sounding to the headcount being completed at the muster point. Enter time as minutes.seconds (e,g. 1min 30 seconds would be 1.30)
