Section Reps (formerly known as parent reps or family reps) are a really important part of the Group; they are volunteers who are also members of the Group Executive Committee (and as such attend Executive Committee Meetings). Section reps are also trustees of the charity. The main role of the section representative is to liaise between parents/ guardians/ carers and the Group Executive Committee for the section they are a part of (there are five sections in the Group: Squirrels, Beavers, Cubs, Scouts and Explorers). Parents/ carers/ guardians of youth members of the Group may wish to speak to a section representative for the following reasons:
- To ask a question (could be anything)
- To raise a concern (could be anything)
- To make a suggestion to be taken to the Executive Committee
There are up to five section representatives, one for each section as follows:
Section | Name of Section Representative |
---|---|
Squirrels | Catherine Bell |
Beavers | |
Cubs | Susan Rundle |
Scouts | Justin Moss |
Explorers |
Section reps may be more accessible to you than other members of the group as they are just like you with a child or young person in the Group and you may see them at collection and drop off times. If you wish to make contact with the rep for your section then you can use the form below, alternately, you can contact the Group leadership via our contact page.
