Last Sunday our Cubs had a brilliant time at the York Ebor District Tag Rugby Competition. The lovely people at York Rugby Union Football Club set up a taster session for all the Cubs in the District to have a go at this non-contact sport.
For many of our Cubs it was their first time ever playing rugby. The rules were explained and there was a bit of practice and then they got into the matches. A few rounds later and our team, with help from a lovely Cub from Holgate Scouts, came second. Well done to everyone!
