The spring term will start on Monday 11th January 2021. Section leaders will shortly be in touch with everyone to share details of the plans for this half-term.
Obviously, tonight’s news that a national lockdown is now in force means that we are now in a readiness level of red. This means that we cannot meet face-to-face. (The Scouts will be updating their website asap to reflect this.) We will be offering online meetings until the lockdown ends and we are able to review local case rates at that time. A full update is available in the COVID-19 section of our website and we will communicate changes to our status as they occur, Please ensure that your contact details are up-to-date on the parent portal.
Clearly this may be a stressful time for many of our members and helpers. Please support and be patient with our leaders, who are all volunteers, as we adapt to the constantly changing circumstances. As before, with other lockdowns, if anyone is struggling to meet the costs of subs please let us know as we may be able to help.
