Chief Scouts Commendation For Good Service
Many Congratulations to JV on his receipt of Chief Scouts Commendation for Good Service, which was recently announced in the Honours for North Yorkshire Leaders (nys.org.uk) list.
JV has 28 years of service, mostly with Dringhouses Scouts and is currently an assistant section leader with St Edwards Scouts Troop. You’ll maybe also recognise him as a regular first aider at District and County events.
Well Done JV! and thank you for your continued commitment to the Group.
About the award: The Chief Scouts Commendation for Good Service is awarded in respect of good service, which stands out. It should be regarded as the Chief Scout’s recognition of the very real contribution made to the Scouts by the individual concerned.
