It was brilliant to be able to help out our neighbours at Dringhouses Primary School. The use of four of our tents (plus a little help putting them up and taking them down, with additional thanks to a couple of our Explorer Scouts) enabled some of their year four children to have a sleepover outdoors!
It was also great to see some of our Cubs among the campers, hopefully they were able to help the others by sharing some of their camping experience.
A big well done to the teachers on their first time taking children camping, amazing stuff. With only two hours sleep overnight though, we suspect that quite a few power naps were required today!
