It’s been an exciting week for Project Vroom! with the launch of the Aviva Community Fund on Tuesday. Our application is for up to £25,000.00 to replace one of our minibuses. The competition is tough with lots of other great projects, including some from neighbouring Scout Groups. After just 5 days of voting we have over 1000 votes which is truly amazing! If you have supported, Thank You so much! If you haven’t had chance to vote yet and you would like to support our project you can find more details at avivacommunityfund.co.uk

It’s been another great week for our sections too, the Beavers and Explorers have been getting in to the Halloween spirit carving pumpkins and getting up to other ghoulish things! They looked great and very scary! The cubs have been working towards their personal safety badges too and the Scouts have been busy building bird boxes and bug hotels. You can check out the pictures on our social media pages.

Finally, a big well done to everyone that took part in the City Archery competition on Saturday. You all did a great job representing the Group and we are very proud of you.

It’s half term next week and a chance for the leaders to have a quick recharge of the batteries, but don’t worry we will be raring to go again in a couple of weeks!
